But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
    —Psalm 10:14
    Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Just as God saw the plight of the Israelites in Egypt and heard their cries for help, he still sees and hears today. But now, he not only hears because he is omnipotent; he hears because of the intercession of his Son and our Savior, Jesus. Jesus has been here. Jesus has faced the specter of death and the pain of torture and ridicule. Jesus means God not only hears our cries for help; he also feels the agony with us. That is why he came. He is our assurance that God feels, cares, acts, and ultimately saves.

    My Prayer...
God, Father and Savior, please be with those who are bearing the incredible weight of agony and pain. Some of these I know and pray for personally. Others I do not know, but they still need your comfort, strength, and grace to sustain them in their days of agony and grief. Please bless them with clear evidence of your care. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

HAPPY PASSOVER, UNLEAVENED BREAD & FIRST FRUITS! (Leviticus 23) These are the spring Feasts of the Lord commanded to be celebrated throughout our generations. He stated that the 7 Holy Celebrations are His (they were shared with the Israelites but as an example to all the people of the earth. All who wanted to follow the God of Israel were to obey the commandments of Elohim). Rome outlawed God's Biblical Feasts and the Sabbaths (which God commanded would be kept as a sign between Him and His people forever - Exo 31:13-17) hundreds of years after the resurrection of our Lord and instituted that people honor Roman pagan days and venerate the sun every Sun-day. We are to obey the commandments of God rather than the traditions and doctrines of mankind. What days you honor and celebrate indicate what God or gods you serve. THE RESURRECTION OF FIRST FRUITS "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And . . . in my flesh shall I see God." (Job 19:25–26) When Yeshua (Jesus) died on the execution stake and became our Passover Lamb, that was not the end of Him! Yes, He was cut off from the living for three days, but He rose from the dead and He is Alive! Don't Celebrate Ishtar's Day or any other pagan festivals. Learn not the ways of the nation's and attempt to worship Him that way. Follow the God of Israel as the apostles did after the resurrection of the Lord. 2Co 6:16 — 2Co 6:18 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”HAPPY PASSOVER, UNLEAVENED BREAD & FIRST FRUITS!
